I am beyond thrilled to have my website up and running. This is no easy feat (as my fellow mommies know) when there is a 13 month old in the house. We're currently in the "pick me up, put me down" stage, which is equal parts exhausting/frustrating and allows little free time for accomplishing anything beyond keeping baby alive. I digress... for that is a topic that deserves its own post entirely.
A dear friend (Ms. Joey Soto) once told me: "Done is sometimes better than perfect". This quote has been haunting me lately as I searched for time to perfect my website design, images, wording, business cards, blog, posts, etc. I openly admit that I am my own biggest critic. I hate attaching my name to things that I feel are inadequate. Oddly enough, motherhood has been the perfect medicine for my perfectionist ways. Once baby arrives there is never enough time in a day and most things have had to take a backseat to our new addition. Rightfully so.
As a result, I am taking my good friend's advice and launching my website and business endeavor. It will most definitely be a learning process so I will ask for your patience and kindness in advance. Joey is right in that it doesn't need to be perfect from the start, but in order to work towards perfect, I must start.
So without further ado, I welcome you to my blog and website. It is my deepest desire that I will inspire YOU to take the first (and bravest) of many steps towards finding the healthiest version of yourself. Read along as I share tips on nutrition, exercise and everything else fitness-related as I work to carve out a little corner in this overwhelming, often intimidating world of blogging!
